On the evening of October 10, 2013, something unusual is spotted in the skies above Krasnolesye, Russia. An object of great size soared toward earth’s surface. Appearing white hot at it’s center, the object left behind a conical trail of smoke in it’s wake. After a brief descent, the airborne matter explodes, extinguishing it’s fiery beacon and disappearing silently into the airspace surrounding it.
While no official explanation has been given, all the evidence points toward a meteor being the culprit. Space debris entering our atmosphere has been on the rise in recent months, and sightings of these illuminating fireballs have been reported worldwide. All across our globe, the sky is falling. Just where will it land next?
